Our plane parted from Scotland at 08.55 PM, and we arrived in London only 55 minutes later, which means that we spent the entire day in London. How great wasn't that?
At first we checked in at the hotel, which lies next to the huge park in London; Hyde Park.
We didn't really know where things were located or what we were going to do, but we both agreed to take it easy today. Last night at the Scottish festival was crazy, so today we feel a little tired.
Both Sandra and me likes to spend time outdoors, and since the two of us wanted to get to know the local community, we started walking. After a while we went to a supermarket and bought some delicious food for our picnic in Hyde Park (not that the air is too good here; I feel the "fast food smell" everywhere).
We continued walking after our nice picnic in the beautiful park, and ended up at Buckingham Palace where Queen Elizabeth II lives. We showed up at the perfect time, because the guardsmen were about to do their daily routine. They played music and marched into the palace.
This is a picture taken by me. Here you can see the guardsmen.
Now we are probably going to eat some dinner at a restaurant!
